Liz is a senior solicitor, and supervisor, in the criminal department. Liz was admitted as a solicitor in 1997 having completed her training contract at Edwards Son & Noice. She remained with the firm after it merged to become Edwards Duthie in 2001.
Experience & Areas of Expertise:
Liz has extensive experience in all aspects of criminal law, from the more minor offences to the most serious. She has a caseload including allegations of murder, serious violent offences, sexual offences, child cruelty, armed robbery, drugs trafficking and fraud/financial crime. She has considerable experience as an advocate, appearing regularly in the Magistrates Court and Youth Court. Liz is a duty solicitor at both the court and the police station.
As well as her criminal practice, Liz also deals with matters before the Parole Board, including parole hearings. Liz has particular experience of representing clients who are serving sentences of imprisonment for public protection.
