Julia Sherriff M.Biochem., D.Phil., LL.B
Julia joined the firm as a paralegal in the Crime Department in July 2008 and became a trainee solicitor in December 2008. She worked in the Crime Department until December 2009 and is now continuing her training contract in the Family Department. She will qualify in December 2010.
Experience & Areas of Expertise:
Julia completed her first degree and doctorate in Biochemistry at the University of Oxford, before converting to law. Julia studied at the College of Law, London completing her LLB with first class honours in 2008. While studying at the College, Julia worked as a volunteer with the Royal Courts of Justice Advice Bureau, and with the National Centre for Domestic Violence. Julia was also awarded the Legal Services Commission's prize for the best student at the College on the Public Legal Services route in 2008.
Julia has been a fully accredited police station representative since December 2008 and while working in the Crime Department also assisted in the preparation of criminal cases at the Magistrates Court and Crown Court stages. She is now working in the Family Department assisting in the preparation of child care and Children Act cases.
