Alex obtained his law degree at the University of Sheffield in June 2005 and went on to achieve a distinction on the Legal Practice Course in June 2007. Following his qualification in September 2009, Alex joined Edwards Duthie as a specialist family solicitor in January 2010.

Alex also has niche expertise in the area of Human Fertilisation and Embryology. Alex advises couples, heterosexual and same sex, and single persons on the legal issues arising from donor insemination and surrogacy arrangements. His expertise includes cases with an international element. Alex also advises persons wishing to enter into co-parenting agreements.
